SUPER Summer

Join us for our SUPER SUMMER program!

This summer each child at Cherished Children will work on being a H.E.R.O. (Healthy. Earth Friendly. Respectful of Animals and Other People). We will start off the summer with everyone making a super hero costume out of recycled materials. Each class will be given secret weekly missions such as picking up trash at the park, making bag lunches for a homeless shelter and collecting dog food to donate to Save-a-Pet. After they complete their weekly mission they can add it to our "Mission Accomplished" wall. The children will be planting seeds and plants in our new flower beds and learning all about gardening. We also have a lot of great field trips planned to help our heroes hone their super powers! Every Friday we will have special guests and/or activities about Science. We are calling this Sci-Fri and the guests are Sci-Ed Kicks (pronounced Side Kicks!). We'll end the summer with a Super H.E.R.O. Soiree to celebrate the kids AMAZING accomplishments!
